Daliya (cracked wheat) is one of the most versatile grains in our kitchen — great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. But making it perfectly fluffy? That’s where most people struggle. Here’s how you can master it:

 1. **Roast It First** — Dry roast your daliya in a pan until it turns slightly golden and
aromatic. This enhances its flavor and prevents stickiness.
2. **Use the Right Water Ratio** — For every 1 cup of daliya, use 3–3.5 cups of water for
soft and fluffy porridge. For a drier texture, reduce the water slightly.
3. **Cook on Low Heat** — Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and let it cook slowly.
This ensures each grain absorbs water evenly.
4. **Add Flavor** — Make it sweet with milk, sugar, and dry fruits — or savory with salt,
ghee, and vegetables.
